SC: Authorities Seeking Felling of Trees Should Make Best Attempt to Reduce No. of Trees to be Cut - (09 Aug 2024)

ENVIRONMENT

SC has observed that keeping in view spirit of Article 51A of the Constitution of India and right of citizens to a healthy environment, every public authority seeking permission for felling trees must make best endeavour to reduce the number of trees which are required to be cut for public project.
