SC: Challenge to Patna HC Judgement Declaring Vishnupad Temple a Public Trust, Dismissed - (08 Aug 2024)

TRUSTS AND SOCIETIES

SC has held that considering the origin of temple, the right exercised by devotees with regard to worship, nature and extent of gift/contribution made by the public, there is hardly any room for doubt that Vishnupad temple is a religious public trust and not a private property of Gayawals Brahmins.
