SC: Can’t View Slum Rehabilitation Scheme as Real Estate Development Project - (02 Aug 2024)

Supreme Court has held that Slum Rehabilitation Scheme cannot be treated as a real estate development project since there is a public purpose involved, and that is inextricably connected to the right to life of some of our brothers and sister citizens who are living in pathetic conditions.
