Uttarakhand HC Expunges Remark on Mandatory Registration for Live-in couples - (01 Aug 2024)

CONSTITUTION

Uttarakhand High Court expunged its order asking a couple to register their relationship under the Uniform Civil Code, Uttarakhand, 2024, within 48 hours after the State’s counsel submitted that the Act has not yet come into force.
