Del. HC: Independent Assessment of Award in Appeal u/s 37 of A&C Act Cannot be Undertaken by Courts - (24 Jul 2024)

ARBITRATION

Delhi High Court has restated that the role of a court while entertaining an arbitration appeal under Section 37 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, is very limited and the Court cannot undertake independent assessment of the merits of the award.
