SC: After Suit for Possession, Subsequent Suit for Arrears of Rent Maintainable - (15 Jul 2024)

PROPERTY

Supreme Court has held that after a suit for possession, a suit for arrears of rent in maintainable and observed that a second suit filed on a different cause of action would not be barred under Order 2 Rule 2 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
