Mad. HC: In Court Documents, Lawyers Cannot Use Prefixes Like Lt. Colonel, Member of Parliament - (03 Jul 2024)

Madras High Court has stated that lawyers cannot be allowed to use prefixes such as Lieutenant Colonel, Member of Parliament before their names in court documents like vakalatnama, causelist as everyone is equal before the court of law.
