Man HC: Can Challenge Bail Order under NIA Act, u/s 21(4) of the Act & Not u/s 439(2) or 482 of CrPC - (02 Jul 2024)

CRIMINAL

Manipur High Court has held that an order granting or refusing bail to an accused for offence committed under the National Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (NIA Act) is appealable under section 21(4) of the NIA Act and not under Section 439(2) or Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
