Tripura High Court: Accused Not Entitled to Bail on Mere Filing of Chargesheet - (24 Jun 2024)

Tripura High Court has held that mere filing of a chargesheet is not a ground at all or has no persuasive value to grant bail to an accused of allegedly committing an offence under the penal provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (NDPS Act).
