Kar. HC: Cannot Make Construction of Memorial for Film Actor Subject Matter of PIL - (05 Jun 2024)

Karnataka High Court has observed that construction of memorial of a film star cannot become subject matter of public interest litigation (PIL). It is difficult to visualise as to what public interest will be achieved by insisting on grant of land for the said purpose.
