Del. HC: Convict Can’t Seek Parole for Maint. Conjugal Relat. With Live-in Partner When Wife Present - (10 May 2024)

CRIMINAL

Del. HC has observed that the law in India does not permit grant of parole on the ground of maintaining conjugal relationship, that too with live-in partner. Moreover, granting parole on such a ground that too when the convict already has a legally wedded wife would set a harmful precedent.
