Supreme Court Explains: Debt Becoming Financial & Operational Debt - (27 Apr 2024)

INSOLVENCY

SC has explained that where a party owes debt to another and when creditor is claiming under written agreement/arrangement providing for rendering service, debt is an operational debt only if claim subject matter of debt has some connection or co-relation with service subject matter of transaction.
