All. HC: Interest Can’t be Awarded by Labour Court In Proc. for Money Recovery from Empl. u/s 33C(2) - (23 Apr 2024)

LABOUR AND INDUSTRIAL

Allahabad High Court has held that in a proceeding under Section 33C(2) of Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, law does not empower a Labour Court to grant interest to an employee on the amount of delayed payment due by the employer.
