Allahabad High Court: Can’t Decide Jurisdiction of DRTs Solely on the Basis of Location of Asset - (15 Apr 2024)

Allahabad High Court has held that for entertaining application under Section 17 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002, the jurisdiction of Debt Recovery Tribunals (DRTs) cannot solely be based on the location of the asset.
