CESTAT: 'Mining Service' Covers Services Like Wireline Logging & Perforation for Drilling Oil Wells - (04 Apr 2024)

Delhi Bench of Customs, Excise, and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) has held that undertaking services like wireline logging, perforation, and other wireline-related services involving mechanical jobs for drilling an oil well would be covered under the taxable category of ‘Mining Service’.
