Calcutta High Court: Person Seeking to Contest Elections is Deemed Public Interest - (28 Mar 2024)

ELECTION

Calcutta High Court while allowing the resignation of a doctor to contest elections has held that there is a deemed public interest in a person seeking to contest in an election and to be a representative of the people.
