SC Decides Against Staying Chief Election Commissioner and Other Election Commissioners Act, 2023 - (21 Mar 2024)

ELECTION

Supreme Court has refused to stay Chief Election Commissioner and Other Election Commissioners Act, 2023 which removes the Chief Justice of India from the panel that appoints election commissioners.
