MP HC: When Prosecution Case Based on Police Witnesses, Their Testimonies Subject to Strict Scrutiny - (07 Mar 2024)

CRIMINAL

While setting aside the conviction in a rioting case of 2016 where police authorities themselves were the complainants, the Madhya Pradesh High Court has observed that when a prosecution case rests solely upon police witnesses, their testimonies will be subjected to strict scrutiny.
