SC: Conviction Based on Dying Declaration Can be Sustained if it Inspires Confidence - (07 Mar 2024)

Supreme Court has held that the conviction of the accused, solely based on the dying declaration, can be sustained if the declaration made by the victim inspires the confidence of the court and proves to be trustworthy.
