SC: Can’t Sustain Case Under Karnataka Cow Slaughter Act if Sample Collected by Unauthorised Officer - (05 Mar 2024)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has held that if a sample of the meat has been collected by an officer who is not authorized under law to do so, then a case under Karnataka Prevention of Cow Slaughter and Cattle Preservation Act, 1964 will not sustain.
