Supreme Court: Stay Orders of High Court on Trials Not to Get Vacated Automatically - (29 Feb 2024)

Supreme Court while overruling its 2018 judgement Asian Resurfacing of Road Agency Pvt. Ltd. and Ors. Vs. Central Bureau of Investigation (MANU/SC/0308/2018), has held that a direction that all interim orders passed by High Courts will automatically expire on the lapse of time cannot be issued.
