Raj. HC: Officials Can Be Ind. Proceeded Against Even If Charges Not Confirmed After GCM Proceedings - (13 Feb 2024)

SERVICE

Rajasthan High Court has held that if certain charges are not confirmed after General Court-Martial (GCM) proceedings, the Chief of Army Staff and other officers are vested with the power to proceed independently against the offending official for termination of services.
