Madras HC: Participation in Funeral of Immediate Family Member Part of Article 25 of Constitution - (12 Feb 2024)

Madras High Court while paving way for an undertrial to attend his father’s funeral, has held that right to attend funeral of the parent/spouse/child falls within the ambit of Article 25 of the Constitution of India.
