CESTAT: Service Tax Not Applicable on Service For Electricity Transmission By GETCO - (08 Feb 2024)

SERVICE TAX

Customs, Excise, and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) Ahmedabad Bench has held that service tax is not applicable for the erection of bays, substations, and transmission lines provided by Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO) to service recipients.
