Supreme Court: Delay in Return of The ‘Duty Drawback’ Entitles Claimant to Interest - (07 Feb 2024)

CUSTOMS

Supreme Court has observed that if there is any delay in refund of the 'duty drawback' to the claimant under the Customs Act, 1962 , then the claimant would be entitled to interest in addition to the amount of drawback, at the rate fixed by Central Government.
