Del. HC: Property to be Returned if PMLA Probe Extends Beyond 365 Days Not Resulting in Any Procd. - (02 Feb 2024)

PROPERTY

Delhi High Court has held that where investigation under Prevention of Money-Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA) extends beyond 365 days and does not result in any proceedings relating to any offence , the seizure of property will lapse and it must be returned to the person from whom it was so seized.
