Ori HC: No Bar Against Anticipatory Bail in cases under SC/ST Act if No Prima Facie Offence Made Out - (29 Jan 2024)

Orissa High Court has held that there is no absolute bar against grant of anticipatory bail to an accused under the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (SC/ST Act), if no prima facie offence is made out.
