Calcutta High Court: Intention to Arbitrate Must be Clearly Stated by Parties Within Agreement - (23 Jan 2024)

ARBITRATION

Calcutta High Court has held that parties to an arbitration agreement should clearly state their intentions to arbitrate and should abstain from using terms like ‘if’ ‘may’ or ‘but’.
