SC: Setting Person on Fire Would Fall Under Section 302 of IPC - (15 Jan 2024)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court while upholding the murder conviction of a man who killed his wife has observed that setting a person on fire is an act of 'extreme cruelty' and would fall under Section 302 of Indian Penal Code.
