All. HC: Prosectution Witness Already Cross-Examined Can’t be Compelled to Re-Appear - (12 Jan 2024)

CRIMINAL

Allahabad High Court has held that a prosecution witnesses who have already put in appearance at the time of prosecution evidence and have been cross-examined by accused shouldn’t be summoned again unless Magistrate is satisfied that summoning such witnesses is essential for meeting ends of justice.
