MP HC: RP has Right to File Restraint Suit for Grant of Injunction Against Unauthorised GI Tag User - (26 Dec 2023)

Madhya Pradesh High Court has held that based on principles of ubi jus ibi remedium, viz., if there is a right, there is a remedy, therefore, Registered Proprietor (RP) would also have a right to file a restraint suit for a grant of injunction against any unauthorised user of GI tag.
