Del. HC: Right to Parenthood and Procreation is Fundamental Right of a Convict - (26 Dec 2023)

CIVIL

Delhi High Court while observing that right to parenthood is fundamental right of a convict, has held that where age and biological clock of convict and his partner have potential of becoming a barrier for procreation in future due to long incarceration, their prayer must be attended with empathy.
