Bom. HC: Appeal u/s 14A of SC/ST Act not Allowed When Case is Under Both SC/ST Act and POCSO - (21 Dec 2023)

CRIMINAL

Bombay High Court has held that in a case involving offenses under both, the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 (SC/ST Act) and the POCSO Act, a victim thereof does not have a right to prefer an appeal under Section 14-A of SC/ST Act.
