SC: Documents can be Directly Produced at the Stage of Cross-Examination of a Witness - (18 Dec 2023)

Supreme Court has held that documents can be directly produced during cross- examination of a witness, (who is not a party to suit), to confront witness for refreshing his memory, under Order VII Rule 14(4); Order VIII Rule 1A(4) and Order XIII Rule 3 of CPC without seeking prior leave of Court.
