P&H HC: Peaceful Protest is Not a Penal Offence Under Section 188 IPC - (08 Dec 2023)

CRIMINAL

Punjab and Haryana High Court while quashing FIR against political leaders for violating order under Section 144 CrPC, has observed that merely bringing the Chief Minister of Punjab's attention to an important issue through a peaceful protest does not amount to an offence under section 188 IPC.
