SC Warns Patanjali Ayurved of Fine for Claiming False Misleading Claims of Cure - (22 Nov 2023)

CIVIL

Supreme Court has directed Patanjali Ayurved to stop immediately all false and misleading advertisements and stated that the Court will also consider imposing costs to the extent of Rs. 1 crores on every product regarding which a false claim is made that it can “cure” a particular disease.
