SC: No Rule that Requires Accused to Undergo Sentence Before his Plea for Suspension is Considered - (07 Nov 2023)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court while hearing an SLP against High Court refusing to suspend sentence, has held that there is no hard and fast rule which requires an accused to undergo sentence for a particular period before his prayer for suspension of sentence is considered.
