SC Upholds Ban on Reinforced Paper Cups in Tamil Nadu - (23 Oct 2023)

ENVIRONMENT

Supreme Court while refusing to interfere with Madras HC’s order upholding the ban on reinforced paper cups introduced in Tamil Nadu observed that it would be appropriate to remand the question of including non-woven bags within single-use plastic products ban, back to TNPCB for consideration.
