SC: ED Must Furnish Ground of Arrest in Writing at the Time of Arrest - (04 Oct 2023)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court while observing that Directorate of Enforcement (ED) is not expected to be vindictive in its conduct, has held that it would be necessary for ED that a copy of written grounds of arrest is furnished to the arrested person as a matter of course and without exception.
