All. HC: Person is Declared as Proclaimed Offender Only After Publication of Proclamation - (07 Sep 2023)

CRIMINAL

Allahabad High Court has held that a proclamation has to be ‘published’ as provided under Section 82(1) CrPC before a person is declared as a proclaimed offender, and in absence of such publication the occasion for the applicant being declared a proclaimed offender doesn't arise.
