Del. HC: Courts Can’t Make Presumptions Based on Gender - (06 Sep 2023)

CRIMINAL

Delhi High Court while observing that presumptions based on gender have no place within framework of law, unless provided by the statute, has held that assumptions in favour of a female accused, without any substantive basis or valid grounds is against principles of our justice system.
