Kar. HC: Failure to Inform the Grounds of Detention to Detenue Can Lead to Quashing of Detention - (04 Sep 2023)

CRIMINAL

Karnataka High Court has held that detention order can be quashed if authorities fail to provide detenue, the documents relied on by them, in a language known to the detenue within the specified period of 21 days as contemplated under Section 3(3) of Goonda Act.
