SC: Can’t Claim Salary Once Appointment is Declared Illegal & Void Ab Initio - (24 Aug 2023)

SERVICE

Supreme Court has held that once the appointment of employee has been declared illegal and void ab initio, continuing in service and salary claims becomes untenable in the absence of challenge to the cancellation order.
