Bom HC: Two Children Limit for Panchayat Members Excludes Step-Children - (21 Aug 2023)

ELECTION

Bombay High Court while observing that objective of two children policy was to disqualify a panchayat member responsible for the birth of more than two children, has held that a woman cannot be disqualified because her spouse has two children from his previous wedlock.
