SC: Prosecutors are Not Representatives of Any Party - (21 Aug 2023)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court while placing reliance on 154th Law Commission report and observing that Prosecutors are not representatives of any party, has stated that Prosecutor has a duty to the state, accused and the Court, and it is not the duty of the prosecuting counsel to secure a conviction.
