SC: Self-Regulatory Mechanism for Media Houses is to be Made Effective - (16 Aug 2023)

MEDIA AND COMMUNICATION

Supreme Court while observing that penalties against media houses must be of proportion to profits you make from that show, has stated that while Court appreciates the fact that there has to be self-regulation, that has to be the principle, that self-regulatory body must be effective.
