Allahabad HC: Purely Punitive Action Shouldn’t be Taken Against Students - (07 Aug 2023)

EDUCATION

Allahabad High Court has observed that purely punitive action taken by the University against a student, to the exclusion of opportunities to reform his conduct or explore possibilities of excellence, may make the action vulnerable to judicial review on the grounds of disproportionality.
