All. HC: Commercial Electricity Rates Not Applicable to Lawyers' Chambers - (07 Aug 2023)

ELECTRICITY

Allahabad High Court has held that the legal profession by no stretch of imagination can be called as a commercial activity, trade or business and therefore electricity rates charged from commercial establishments cannot be charged for lawyers' chambers.
