SC: One Can’t Contend that he is Entitled for Lease Merely on the Basis of a Pending Application - (02 Aug 2023)

Supreme Court while setting aside Rajasthan High Court’s order that declared Rule 4 (10) and 7(3) of Rajasthan Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1986 as unconstitutional, has observed that pending application for mining lease doesn't create any vested right.
