SC: Merits of the Evidence has to be Appreciated Only During the Trial - (31 Jul 2023)

CRIMINAL

Supreme Court has observed that merits of the evidence have to be appreciated only during the trial, by cross examination of the witnesses and scrutiny of the Court, and the same is not to be done at the stage of Section 319 of CrPC.
